For Democrats, trans is the new black. Offended? You should be.

There is no limit to the depths of Democrat depravity

If it was not immediately apparent, the title of this article is intentionally offensive; yet, it reflects a repulsive reality. The Democrats are struggling to maintain their voting base and will stop at nothing to try to hold on to power. Their typical modus operandi is to pander to allegedly oppressed minorities and promise them a better future if they would just vote Democrat. They’ve had such a hold on these groups in the past, that they nary had a worry about their typical voter base. Consider President Biden’s on-air statement in his run up to the 2020 presidential election: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

Support from the Democrats’ favored few is not simply desired - it is expected. Unfortunately, over the past six years, Democrats have more and more been losing support from the black community. At the outset of this decline, Democrats attempted to lump “black and brown” (i.e. Hispanic/Latino) people together to create a larger minority group whom they could declare “oppressed by the system,” and garner additional votes. As support continued to decline, pandering devolved to casting aspersion. Black and Hispanic voters who refused to get on the Democrat bandwagon were disparaged as, of all things, “white supremacists.” In Biden and the Democrats’ eyes, as Biden declared in his above-cited statement, these voters weren’t actually black.

Now having lost too much of the black and brown vote to conservative principles and common sense, the Democrats have turned their attention to another group: so-called transgenders. I say, “so-called,” for a couple of reasons. Until the past few years, transgender was called transsexual, and it was considered a psychological disorder. We should have true empathy for those who suffer from gender dysphoria, and as such, we should also want what is best for them, which is, contrary to current wisdom, not surgical and medicinal interventions, but rather, helping their minds mend that they might be comfortable accepting the reality of the body in which they were born. This is no different from treating a disorder like anorexia or bulimia, other disorders where a person’s mind cannot accept the reality of the body. But I digress.

People who truly suffer gender dysphoria are far fewer than it appears to the naked eye. Over the past several years, many have been cajoled or coddled into believing they were born in the wrong body. Peer pressure and feelings of isolation can have a tremendous impact on people, and when a movement appears brave or virtuous, something for which accepting or being a part of the cause results in applause and acceptance, the rewards of being one of the crowd can fulfill perceived emotional needs. Even psychologists have pointed out that most kids who at some time feel like they may be living in the wrong body are often going through a phase which they eventually outgrow. Whether people choose to believe so, the left is engaging in exploitative campaigns, especially through social media, to draw more in to this depraved delusion. This accounts for the appearance of large numbers when in reality, transgenders are a very small percentage of the population. The Democrats’ ploy is quite detestable.

If you have not seen a main stream media newscast lately, you may be unaware of the shift in narrative. While it was once black people (and then black and brown people) who the Democrats insisted were disenfranchised by voter ID laws, it is now transgenders who are allegedly disproportionately disadvantaged by such statutes. Run a quick search in your browser, and the engine will return a plenitude of pages devoted to declaring the devastating news that voter ID laws will deprive the gender dysphoric of their right to cast a ballot. Yes, the left has moved on from telling the black community that they are, for some reason, incapable of obtaining a state-issued ID (that should be incredibly offensive to the black community), and are now essentially saying the same of a minority that has not historically been oppressed in a similar manner as the Democrats’ previous beloved bunch. They're singing the same tune in a different key, and therein is the malicious motive revealed - take advantage of a small group by feigning empathy for a plight that affects few, if any, while pledging progress for those they actually belittle through their words and actions. 

The Democrats have no substitute strategy. They have no accomplishments on which to campaign. If they did, President Biden would have been vociferously touting them in his speech last night. Instead, he continued to  foist the fault on Trump for the current state of our Union, and cackle and crow about the impending destruction of our democracy™ (or more accurately, the Democrats’ hold on power).  They have nothing of substance to offer. Their policy positions are burdensome, oppressive, and completely contrary to anything with which we the people are currently concerned. All they can do is try to convince people that they are or will be marginalized, and then purport a promise of demarginalization. Sadly for them, they are running out of minorities to exploit.

We may as well at this point be waiting for President Biden to take to the airwaves once again and exclaim, “if you can’t decide whether to vote Democrat or Republican, then you ain’t trans!” It is a disgusting deception, and it should give anyone, especially those disparaged by this duplicity, pause about voting for Democrats.
