Just one more shining example of how depraved our society has become. The powers that be on their infanant wisdom (note the sarcasm) have pushed God out of our daily lives. At least in the PUBLIC aspect of our lives. But in turn, they try to legislate morality, which is IMPOSSIBLE.

I honestly believe they belive themselves the ultimate authority on moral issues. They belive themselves to be gods. Not God like, but actual gods. This is to THEIR detriment. THE one TRUE God will have the final say on their behavior.

Some in government, and the others in the population, want to punish every day, law abiding people rather than holding the appropriate people accountable for their actions.

The ONLY Salvation for us as a whole is returning to our roots in faith. We have to turn to God if we want to have anything like peace of mind. As least, I found MY peace in Jesus Christ.

I know I’m not the only one that thinks this, but please take your children out of public school. You send your children to Caesar and you can expect to get little Romans back.

Yes, it's our society that is broken. There are plenty of ways to spread the blame around for that, but overall I'm fairly pessimistic about the human race. We are doing poorly (except at trying to make ourselves extinct - we might succeed at that).

When people speak of "judgment," it is always with some sense of a future, impending doom coming our way. If you look at the reality of our current cultural degradation, you see we are currently experiencing that very judgment Scripture spoke of so very often on nations that abandoned the "Way of Yahweh." There is a solution to it though, and it is found in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people [d]who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

As John Adams stated, our Constitution, and by default our Republic, was made for a moral and religious people. And when we abandoned those founding premises, we began our spiral headlong into judgment and obscurity!
