The gender ideologues have gone to plaid!

It is truly beyond ludicrous

In the hilarious Mel Brooks sci-fi spoof, Spaceballs, Dark Helmet seeks to capture Princess Vespa in order to steal the oxygen from her planet. As Dark Helmet gives chase, the princess is aided by Lone Starr and his sidekick, Barf, as they make their escape. While Spaceball One, Dark Helmet’s ship, is just about to catch Lone Starr’s ship, Lone Starr’s ship speeds away. In order to catch them, Dark Helmet orders his crew to take Spaceball One to “ludicrous speed.” They end up going so fast, they shoot past Lone Starr with a swath of plaid in their wake. This is what is now happening with gender ideology.

If you thought we had already reached the limit of how ridiculous gender theory could get, you thought wrong. Diane Ehrensaft, Mental Health Director for the Child and Adolescent Gender Center at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, has brought crazy to a whole new level. This Psychology PhD avers that kids can identify as gender hybrids. For instance, like the mythical Minotaur, sporting the head of a bull and body of a man, children can have one gender on top and another on bottom. As if the idea of gender fluidity wasn’t ridiculous enough, how about being compared to a battery-operated vehicle? Another of Ehrensaft’s assertions was that a child could be a gender Prius. That’s right, a Prius. In this case, instead of different genders top and bottom, the distinction is front-to-back. I think Ehrensaft wrecked causing the junk from her trunk to lodge in her brain (or, perhaps, her brain to lodge in her trunk).

Realize, this woman is a professor at UCSF School of Medicine, teaching future physicians that children are leading the gender revolution. Fox News published a slide from one of Ehrensaft’s presentations:

This is beyond blatherskite. Children aren’t coming up with this tommyrot on their own. Children are not leading this. Children are being led. Led by mentally deficient malcontents like Ehrensaft into delusion and dysphoria.

Like it or not, boys are boys and girls are girls and neither can become the other. Even with so-called gender-affirming surgery, a boy can never be a girl and a girl can never be a boy. A neutered male dog is still a male dog, it just can no longer reproduce. This is what is happening to children: they’re being sterilized. Of course, this doesn’t compute for people who suffer from such severe cognitive dissonance that they believe gender has nothing to do with sexual organs, but cutting off sexual organs can affirm gender. Either that, or they are maliciously depriving children of their capability to produce offspring, which leads one to wonder what might be the underlying motivation for such misanthropy.

Unfortunately for children, lunatics like Ehrensaft are plentiful, and many are employed in professional positions to provide medical and psychological treatment. Caring, but weak-minded, parents have been duped by the likes of Ehrensaft into permanently harming their children despite the complete lack of any scientific evidence that gender dysphoria is anything other than a psychological disorder or social contagion.

So many children are seeking approval and acceptance, and as children are apt do, they go along with the crowd. This is the social contagion aspect of gender dysphoria. Some, however, are truly suffering from this disorder, and instead of getting them help, parents are causing irreparable damage. If an emaciated anorexic said to you, “I’m fat,” would you stick your finger down her throat to help her purge herself of her most recent meal, or would you encourage her to seek help seeing her body as it actually is? Neither should parents seek to alter a child for expressing the symptoms of true gender dysphoria (even worse a child who is simply seeking attention or acceptance).

We must stop allowing the inmates to run the asylum. This woman should not be teaching in a medical school, and the only place she belongs that is anywhere near a medical facility is in a padded room, not treating children. It’s far past time for adults to stand up for their kids and tell these demented degenerates, “no!”

It seems people like Ehrensaft need to keep coming up with gender concepts that are more and more outrageous in order to stay relevant. Never mind jumping the shark. These people have gone to plaid!
