Two mealworm patties, special sauce, vegan cheese, pickles, onions on a gluten-free bun
Racing toward a global Holodomor
When I was younger, one of the most well-known advertising campaigns was for the McDonald’s Big Mac, and the main slogan was: “two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.” In today’s political and activist climate, you will likely never hear such a chant. The global elites, who fly to climate conferences on their carbon-coughing private jets, have deemed cow flatulence too dangerous to sustain. Of course, they will continue to eat steaks, but no meat for you! The meals they want you to eat will leave you asking, “where’s the beef?” Of course, that also means cutting down on dairy, because…farm flatuses.
So, what would they like you to eat? Bugs, of course. Grasshoppers, crickets, and mealworms are among the top suggestions from the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO - not Schwartz). According to FAO and other climate cultists, farming insects is far more sustainable than raising beef. So, substitute mealworms for meat, eat cockroaches instead of chicken, and palm weevils can replace pork. All of the protein and nourishment of factory-farmed animals supposedly without the environmental impact. But wait. Isn’t that kind of gross? Not to mention, studies have shown that, even with farms dedicated to raising them as human food, insects can be the source of many potential problems such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, chemical hazards including mycotoxins, pesticides, heavy metals, antimicrobials, and physical hazards. Don’t you worry though, the government will protect you, and you’ll get all the nutrients you need. Of course, the elites will continue to feast on filet at their jet-setting confabs while you subsist on a diet of diving beetles and dragonflies.
What is the point of all this? Do they really so staunchly worship the earth? Do they truly believe they can halt climate change by forcing you to ingest insects? Of course not. Yes, they have convinced multitudes that we are experiencing catastrophic climate change, and indoctrinated them with a cult-like faith in the Science™, which is far from settled when it comes to wily weather patterns. So why the push for six-legged sustenance? The answer is as simple as it is malign: control.
We all know about the holocaust, but many have never heard of the Holodomor (From the Ukrainian holod meaning “hunger,” and mor meaning “extermination), sometimes also referred to as the Great Famine. In 1929, Josef Stalin, in order to move forward his vision of socialism decided to collectivize farming. In order to do so, he needed to take private farms from citizens. Wealthier peasants, and any other farmer who resisted this collectivization, were labeled kulaks and were either deported to the far regions of the USSR, or they were executed by Stalin’s secret police. Unfortunately, production dropped with these newly formed communal farms, and food shortages soon ensued. This sparked rebellions among the peasants and farmers, including in Ukraine, which was at the time a soviet republic.
By 1932, as the famine grew across the USSR, Ukraine struggled significantly, and the Ukrainian grain harvest came up well short of the Soviet planners’ target. Though the Ukrainian peasants may have been able to survive on what little harvest they had, Stalin ordered it all to be confiscated as punishment for not meeting the goal. Further arrests followed, as well as other horrific measures. People attempting to flee to other places, where they might find food, were prevented by policy through the Soviet system of internal passports and by the secret police. Additional decisions by Stalin restricted the import of food to entire towns in Ukraine. These actions make it appear that the deaths caused by the famine were not just happenstance but by design. Overall, at least 5 million people died in the USSR between 1931 and 1934, and at least 3.9 million of those were Ukrainians. This was an intentional elimination of opposition to communist rule.
These are the lengths to which those bent on power and control will go in order to gain and maintain that power and control. Similar events are now taking place. India pushed for new laws that disenfranchised small farmers. European herdsmen are being forced to reduce their livestock numbers, and protests are erupting. Farmers are being forced to cut production due to environmental policy. The Dutch government plans to buy out and close 3000 farms. New Zealand ranchers are battling a cow-burp levy, as the government plans to tax agricultural emissions. The Biden Administration is seeking to take an additional 4 million acres of farmland out of production under the Conservation Reserve Program, a program that pays to let lands lie fallow for periods of ten years at a time. Claiming this will not do enough to battle climate change, the administration is also considering new farming regulations.
In case you think these are independent decisions made by individual countries based on their own assessments, let me correct you: this is a centralized, top-down effort. There was much talk about farming, agriculture, and climate at the G20 conference held in Bali mid-November. Just a quick scan of the G20 Bali Leaders’ Declaration published on the White House website reveals several statements regarding food insecurity (which the U.S. has not solved domestically over decades and after spending 20+ trillion dollars), fragile supply chains (rising diesel costs are causing transportation issues and creating higher food prices and scarcity on grocery store shelves), claims of using all available tools to combat the global food crisis (like stopping farms from producing?), research on food science and technology (lab-grown food instead of farm-raised?), sustainability, and so on and so on: https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2022/11/16/g20-bali-leaders-declaration/
This is not about the Science™, and it is not about the climate - it is about centralized global control. People even in America are already struggling to put food on the table. These measures do little but raise prices and make food more scarce for everyone. When government controls the food supply, it controls the people. This is how dictators, like Josef Stalin, put their boot heel on the collective neck of the populace. This is a move toward communism on a worldwide scale. We need to learn from history. If we don’t do something to save our farms and stem the tyranny, we will soon find ourselves racing toward a global Holodomor.
Most people don’t know about the bugs for food discussion but a lot around my area are figuring out why eggs, milk and meat are sky rocketing in price. Others are ignorant and think the producers and oil companies are at fault because they keep believing the pablum from the MSM. I expect not far in the future for all the FB pages that exchange tips on gardening, raising animals and swapping product of that nature to go away. I’m not eating bugs.
This is a big topic that has a lot to unpack, that's likely to impact all of us to a much greater extent.
