I have "preached" Cloward and Piven for nearly the past 2 decades. This is that strategy on steroids and I never once assumed it could be implemented on such a massive scale as it has now been employed against the citizens of these United States of America with the use of massive waves of foreign nationals. Add to that the pervasive surveillance of American citizens on every corner of the country and you can see the writing on the wall; Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin. We have been weighed and found wanting. Years, decades even, of complacency and apathy by the average citizen of the U.S. has opened the door of the chicken coop for the wolves to just stroll right on in. We have only ourselves to blame.

Just to refresh memories, the administration was tying border security to Ukraine funding, so it was rebuked by the House. “It’s republicans fault the border is not secure!” Um, make a clean bill that actually addresses and prevents illegal border crossings and it will get passed, simple, right? Not. The snakes in the swamp always need to tie one issue to another. It’s bullshit. And it needs to stop.

What’s interesting is people that point out they aren’t invading for war. From 2000 to 2020 (the end of Trump administration) there were about 37,000 deaths from fentanyl. From 2020 to just a couple months ago that has nearly doubled to a total of 73,654 (https://usafacts.org/articles/are-fentanyl-overdose-deaths-rising-in-the-us/)

I find myself more and more debating whether or not an invasion requires firearms and missiles. This, to me, proves that the majority intent is to distribute a very dangerous drug amongst our streets to thin out our population.

Let alone the amount of funds it requires our government to “aid” these asylum seekers until they go through the court process (in the event they actually do) and obtain legal means to work in America.

If they’re truly seeking asylum, why do they have to cross at non station points? Wouldn’t asylum process be quicker then them wandering until they’re caught?

This is intentional. The Cloward-Piven declaration could not be more on point. Trump was impeached once for a phone call in which he inquired about the actions of the former VP in blackmailing the Ukrainian government over $1,000,000,000,000 in aid, read - US Taxpayer funds given to a corrupt government.

The second impeachment claimed Trump incited insurrection as a result of a speech he gave January 6th of 2021, again because of the actions of the former Vice President and then President-Elect*

* It is my belief that the results of the November 3rd election were falsified. There have been no consequences to those responsible, even though daily another claim regarding the shenanigans perpetrated by Democrats and the Left have proven accurate. We truly are in unprecedented territory.

In both instances, Congress took action to aid Joe Biden and ignore his malfeasance and project Biden's corruption onto Trump. It's odd that shortly after November 3rd, 2020, any mention of election fraud, inconsistencies with ballot tabulation, evidence of both ballot box stuffing and illegal collection and delivery of ballots, discrepancies in voter registration, eligibility, and just plain, demonstrable fraud, were subjected to 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, restrictions, and bans on just about every form of social media. For months afterward, any evidence disputing the legitimacy of the 2020 election brought a plethora of counter claims and outright lies in defense of the outcome. It was all but illegal to question the validity of the election.

Statements made about the lies, cheating, and corruption that occurred in that election were f𝑎c𝑡 𝑐h𝑒c𝑘e𝑑. When was the last time anyone's claims about 2020 election fraud were f𝑎c𝑡 𝑐h𝑒c𝑘e𝑑?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Yep old news, move on.

Now we have claims about what can be or is done on our southern border regarding the invasion that anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together can see. It is indisputable and still the Whitehouse and far too many in Congress claim it isn't happening. when called on their ignorance or dishonesty, they double down and convolute themselves into believing and announcing it is the accusers responsible for the fiasco our national security has become. This will continue until a confrontation of force occurs and then all bets are off.

With Texas' declaration of doing what the federal government refuses to do and that is required by the Constitution, Texas uses the 10th Amendment in an attempt to rightfully protect its citizens. This is opposed by this Administration and Congress. Cabinet level agencies and others, openly refuse to uphold the law and they've gone to SCOTUS to defend their dereliction of duty. This will not end well. There will be a showdown and ordnance will likely be exchanged between federal and state agencies. An 1860 - 1864 redux is on the horizon. And it 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 come to a head before November 5th.

God help us.

Excellent analysis Steve. I did fail to note in the piece that Congress, not just the President, is derelict in its duty to protect the border, as Article I, Section 8, Clause 15 of the Constitution says that Congress has the power to "provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions." They should be calling up the military to repel this invasion. So blame your Representatives and Senators as well as the President. That they can win such a case in court is ludicrous in light of Article I, Section 10, Clause 3:

No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

Note that, technically, Texas is not "engag[ing] in War", though clearly there is "such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay." Texas has a right to defense - it is being invaded. If the federal government won't do it's job, the State is going to have to undertake the work itself. Like yourself, I believe it is going to lead to an exchange of ordnance (clearly the point of my writing), and it is *not* going to be a good day for anyone.
