The Constitution of the United States is a fairly short read from start to finish. The fact that 300+ million citizens are "ignorant" of its contents or too lazy to read it and understand it on their own is a reflection of our current state of culture run rampant with political party approved insanity.

I agree that there are hundreds of millions of American who are too stupid and/or lazy to READ FOR THEMSELVES and learn what WASN'T taught to them in high-school. I do believe a large number of these people have been conditioned to think that the government has their best interests at heart. That is a big part of why they don't pursue learning more. SURELY their elected "officials" (that's another word that irks me. They are REPRESENTATIVES, not officials) wouldn't LIE to them. Never mind that you can turn on "the news" and someone from one party is telling you that the other party is LYING to you...and vice versa. I'm sure I've said it on here before but, I have learned that the 2 most important things to those "officials" are getting elected and then getting RE-ELECTED.

I don't know if I can name 5 politicians who actually have/had our best interests at heart since Mr. Smith went to Washington.

That it was. I just wish he was more accurate in handling the information with which he lectured them.

Another great article pointing out the almost universal, woeful misunderstanding of the intent of the constitution.

The original intent of how a President would be elected, by my understanding, was that well informed people would be voting for qualified candidates. That's a far cry from our present "popularity contest" where Presidential candidates are selected by the two parties based on who will promote their agenda and who is most electable. Being the best for the job no longer plays any part in the election.

Having babbled that, it seems to me that the election of Trump was an expression of frustration by the citizens. We are tired of "corruption as usual". So I do believe that Musk and "DOGE" have the support of the people and are doing the will of the people. Perhaps a bit unexpectedly effective and disruptive but did anyone seriously expect the corruption to just fade away without fighting back?

Chad, I implore you to look carefully at the positions and principles of the CPofCA.org ...The Constitution Party of California. We need people dedicated to 'Rule of Law' as it was intended to be, .... NOT as it exists today. Let's discuss this, in a truly professional manner.

Steven Miller is the absolute master of pathetic. No, scratch that, he’s a walking, talking dumpster fire of Nazi level drivel. Every time this pompous fuck opens his mouth, he turns a simple interview into a deranged propaganda rant that would make even the most hardened fascist blush. The bastard’s the poster child for Nazi political theater, spouting off some convoluted, labyrinthine bullshit as if every trivial Trumpian whim were part of a grand scheme worthy of Hitler’s own Mein Kampf. It's a sick, twisted spectacle that makes you want to rip your hair out and curse the day you ever had to endure his drivel.
