@John Wright being ruled by emotions is instinctive to babies and toddlers. Thought and thoughtful response is a learned skill, but the public education system has made sure it's not taught. A few generations of parents who don't have critical thinking skills and here we are. BTW Chad, we used to have a saying down South - "Worthless as a sh#t-eating dog." I thought you might be headed that way from the top! LOL

Sensationalist advertising shuts my brain off. These types of ads result in my automatically ignoring them.

Unfortunately it seems that humans are ruled by our emotions and politicians know that. Thus they spit out nonsense in the hopes of connecting with the emotions of the audience. Pitiful.
