Peddling pandemic propaganda for political power

Though not the first virus to be portended as a potential pandemic over the past few decades, the Covid-19 outbreak created a new avenue for the exercise of political power in the name of “public health.” Others had come before, with the mad cow scare in 2002, the bird flu boondoggle of 2005, and the H1N1 swine flu fears of 2009. Much punditry was proffered regarding these prior plagues, yet none of the expected exigencies emerged.

Covid-19 was a different animal, however. People were suffering pneumonia-like symptoms, and this gave governments an impetus for mandating measures on a scale unlike any other. Eschewing any potential early treatment protocols, we were assiduously assaulted with the notion that we needed to “wait for the vaccine.” In the meantime, state governments mandated masking, shutdown “non-essential” (by whose standard?) businesses, and implemented a digital form of mass societal surveillance under the guise of “contact tracing” (anyone care to guess how that fits with the Fourth Amendment?).

The President harassed the hesitant (those who did not wish to serve as human guinea pigs with a shot that had not had sufficient testing), stating that his patience was wearing thin. He even went so far as to use OSHA in an attempt to coerce businesses to force the jabs on their employees.

Some pondered the potential for “vaccine passports” to restrict public movement and participation of those who refused the injections.

What many never realized was, by the time Covid was known and being talked about, the CDC estimated that from October 1, 2019 to March 14, 2020 estimated there had already been 38,000,000 - 54,000,000 cases of influenza, with as many as 710,000 hospitalizations and up to 59,000 deaths. Where was the media with their incessant indicators of flu numbers like they used to fear monger about Covid?

Eventually, many awakened to the farce being foisted upon them, realizing that the issue was never about health but about control, and government was forced to back down. They did not, however, forget how easy it was to manipulate the masses.

Wouldn’t you know, we now appear to be suffering déjà flu. H5N1, the same bird flu that Neil Ferguson predicted would kill up to 200 million, yet only about 78 died out of 147 reported cases. Still, there are those now who question why government isn’t doing more to stop it, and why media isn’t talking more about it, despite very few, if any, confirmable cases, and only one alleged death. Nonetheless, the previous administration used the opportunity provided by this bird flu to cull 150,000,000 egg-laying hens. As if that wasn’t enough, they even went after cows (along with blaming cows for the climate), and still want to inject animals with a mRNA bird flu “vaccine.”

See where this is going? Control the food supply, control the people. There was another powerful leader who attempted this. That attempt ended up in an event now known as the Holodomor. The current instance of déjà flu bring us the same panic government was propagating in 2005 along with similar attempts at control we saw with Covid-19.

Of course, not content to scare monger about H5N1, we are now hearing horror stories of major measles outbreaks. To be clear, they are not major, such outbreaks are actually quite common, and measles has killed all of about 4 people over the past 25 years. For the most part, measles (which is actually another form of respiratory virus with many symptoms very similar to influenza) stopped being a killer virus years before the vaccine was even introduced.

Actually, several outbreaks of measles (as with many other diseases) have been among vaccinated populations. More recently, researchers have discovered that natural measles infection may have a preventative effect against cancer. Regardless, as Rahm Emanuel is famed for saying, “you never let a serious crisis go to waste.” Thus, measles needs to be a “crisis,” despite other ailments and incidents accounting for far more human suffering and death.

What you should be starting to realize that this point, beyond the fact that media and government are willing to use health concerns to propagandize the population is that the concept of “public health” is a myth that is used for the sole purpose of control.

You have your health. I have my health. Everyone else has his or her health. None of us “share” our health. Yes, diseases may be able to be transmitted, but my being unhealthy does not make another unhealthy, nor does my being healthy make anyone else healthy. The false narrative of “public health” has been perpetrated upon us so that the government can use it for control.

In reality, the federal government has absolutely no constitutional authority to be involved in science, medicine, or healthcare whatsoever. At most, Article I, Section 8, Clause 8 allows government to protect scientific and medical discoveries by issuing limited-time patents (if you disagree, I challenge you to find an article and section of the Constitution that grants the federal government to run agencies such as HHS, the CDC, FDA, and USDA).

Don’t fall prey to the propaganda. There are very few health “crises” that merit any type of government intervention, and even if they do, the federal government has no constitutional authority to intervene and no constitutional authority to mandate medical measures or treatments.
