How unappetizing! {sigh} One of my major frustrations is how difficult it is to eat healthy. Forget cost, even if you ignore cost, it's absurdly hard to buy healthy food.

As your article points out... don't even get me started on the horrible "advice" from the "authorities".

They have systematically and unapologetically destroyed the food supply. Is it any wonder that so many people suffer from so many chronic illnesses and hormonal imbalances?

Consume garbage... be unhealthy... but hey, as long as you make a profit it's all good right?

This discussion comes at a most opportune time - my son and I are addressing our nutrition (LACK OF) and which path would be most beneficial. GOOD DISCUSSION!!!!!

Grow as many of your own veggies and herbs as possible. You an control the fertilizers used (if any) and any forms of pest control. Of course, growing your own food (including raising animals for a food source) is always best. But, when that just isn't an option, go with as many organic and free range/grass fed sources as you possibly can.

Staying healthy through good nutrition is very time consuming and labor intensive any more. It always was, but not like it is today where land/space to to what is necessary is much more limited.

Surprisingly, in many areas, you still can't control it all. Ever lived somewhere that has mosquito trucks that go around spraying pesticide for mosquitoes during the summer? The government does everything they can to prevent you living a healthy lifestyle all in the name of "helping".

ONCE AGAIN the government thinking they MUST step in to "HELP" me take care of myself because I simply can NOT know what is best for me or how to make good choices for myself. I admit, there ARE people who don't have the sense God gave a turnip and YES, THEY need help with SOME things. But that is only a PORTION of the population, which *I* do NOT belong to.

All of this "help" with our 'healthy' diets is part of their overall plan for "population control/management." (does my Faraday fedora fit well? LOL)

Unfortunately, too many people look to government to take care of things like mosquitoes (which is why there will soon be GMO mosquitoes swarming several counties in Florida and Texas - more playing God and meddling with creation), when they just need to look after themselves and let others do the same. Don't like mosquitoes? Cover yourself with all the poison you want - keep it away from me and my family. It's called liberty - learn to love it.

AMEN! You can dip yourself in a 55 gallon drum of that poison IF YOU WANT, but keep it out of the air that *I* breath and off the food that *I* am growing. Not to mention the amount of that stuff that ends up on your body, car, house, whatever, because of it just lingering in the air. Sadly, many people just DO NOT understand the TRUE meaning of LIBERTY/FREEDOM.

Not to mention drinking water. Microcephaly anyone?

I've met some "dieticians" that I raised an eyebrow over some of the stuff they were saying.

Don't get me started on all the crap they feed and inject the animals that end up on our diner tables with (growth hormones while alive, then solutions to make the meat larger and "juicier" to be more appealing in the butcher case). Or "pink slime"!! The chemicals used in that stuff are used for EMBALMING, but they still feed it to people through the "fast food" they consume.

NOTHING is as good and clean and Healthy as what GOD made for us, the WAY He made it. I have said many many times over the past 25+ years that the USA needed desperately to return to the ORIGINAL BLUEPRINT (THE CONSTITUTION) in order to get back on track. I'm revising that to PEOPLE as a whole need to return to God's original blueprint for humanity. We may not be able to undo the actions of Adam and Eve when they ate of the forbidden fruit, but we can go to the Bible for guidance on simplifying our lives and NOT trying to one-up GOD on every aspect of life.
