The 10th Amendment is the hinge upon which Federalism was supposed to operate in the newly formed United States of America. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." The Federal powers should and must be constrained and all other interests vested in the power of the people in their respective states. Allowing our bureaucracy to balloon far past the boundaries imagined by the signers/framers of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution Of the United States of America, has bastardized the very legitimacy of this nation as it now stands. And I honestly see no way back except through a hard reset and sweeping dismantling of 95% of ALL federal agencies, programs, and NGOs. Without it, there is no United States and we might as well dissolve this union and return to the Articles of Confederation. At least that way each state is the steward of their own destination not beholden to the politics of another state or an elite ruling class over an entire 50 state nationality. Make self-determination and self-governance great again! MSDSGGA doesn't have the same ring...lol!
Without limitations, without constraint, government grows, corruption grows, freedom disappears.
Let's get back to the original intent of the constitution!
If you want some service provided by government, then look to your city, county or state government. NOT the federal government. Or better yet, provide it yourself!
Yeah, I don’t even want local government providing services. It’s too costly (in every way imaginable). Let’s get back to personal responsibility and communities/churches looking out for one another.
I don't either, but I wanted to emphasize the "proper" (legal) approach is to use local governments as "experiments / proving grounds" to figure out what ideas might be "good" and which are not. Then other states (counties & cities) can copy them if desired.
When weak men replace strong men, Jezebel rules the roost. Constitutional truth and rule of law give way to emotional whim and fiction…God’ order to man’s order. I believe Hamilton and Marshall conspired to create the black robed monster we have today. Interposition through 1st Amendment Petitions & Republic Review, county by county is our only hope…along with A Great Awakening!
Well done Chad. Unfortunately the Constitution is nothing more than an aspirational document that is little more than a backdrop to laws drafted by ignorant politicians.
Absolutely accurate in every detail. But here's the $64k question: how can this decline be reversed? I see no way possible short of the Second Coming of Christ. Is there a single historical example of any society restored to original principles once the decline has reached this point? Not a challenge, just an observation. And any such renewal could come about only through a populace that demands it, which as you so clearly point out is a chance vanishingly small in the present day. Once again, great writing but likely preaching to the choir. Sunday blessings my brother!
I agree with you Hank. I see no reversal short of another civil war (this may happen, though I think it unlikely to improve anything at this point) or Jesus’ return.
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." ~Benjamin Franklin

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ A Great Awakening
🙏🇺🇸🙏
I don’t think, I know God is about to bring the same miracle He brought to our thirteen colonies in 1787. https://shut-upn-sing.com/2026/04/12/the-sunday-morning-tune-up-a-great-awakening/
I hope, with everything in me, that you're right about that.
