Every time I read Job, and Job is not an easy read (nor should it be, it should challenge us and make us uncomfortable), I have to remind myself of the primary purpose for which I should be reading. And that purpose is, "Do I love Yahweh for the stuff I receive from Him (blessings, favor, etc) or do I love Yahweh simply for Yahweh Himself no matter the trials and tribulations that come my way. And when I look at the past 10 years of my life specifically, there are many parallels in trials that have come our way that without going through previous testings we would not have come out the other side praising Yahweh. One thing we know is true, "weeping may last for the night, but shouts of joy do come in the morning!"
