Coming into 2024, we’ve all been sufficiently inundated with DEI propaganda from the inanity of the past few years. I’m going to go ahead and give you a disclaimer now: I am not politically correct, I have never been politically correct, I never will be politically correct. As such, I will likely use terminology that some are going find offensive or triggering. I don’t care. Deal with it.
Back to the “D” in “DEI” - diversity… Have you noticed that, for those who embrace it, diversity seems only to work in one direction? Do you recall when the non-white students at Arizona State University got upset with two white students for sitting in a “diversity” space? How is that “inclusive”? (the D & I - Diversity and Inclusion - of DEI are inextricably linked) They were asked to leave because they were “making the space uncomfortable.” How were they making this “multicultural space” uncomfortable? By being white (White students pushed out of multicultural space at Arizona State for being 'offensive'). But…diversity.
Just like the mayor of Boston, who recently made headlines for planning a “coloreds only” holiday party. When confronted, the hypocrisy wasn’t acknowledged. No, that won’t do. Instead, she apologized that those who weren’t supposed to be invited (read: white city council members) accidentally received the invitation (Honest Mistake). How diverse and inclusive of her.
It is rather risible that this isn’t considered racist, but those who perpetrate this piffle are masters of Orwellian newspeak. They reject the dictionary definition of racism (“a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race”; “behavior or attitudes that reflect and foster this belief : racial discrimination or prejudice”), and say, “no, someone can’t be racist unless that person has some degree of power greater than over or the person toward whom the racism is directed.” Total twaddle.
Consider, the most devout diversity demanders are the same who have advocated and implemented:
separate graduation ceremonies for people of color
separate dormitories for people of color
separate classes for people of color
gathering places devoted to diversity (where whites are not welcome)
separate holiday celebrations for politicians of color
and so on…
Under the guise of diversity, they insist government, corporations, and universities hire based on…wait for it…skin color rather than qualification. This is the excuse used for hiring people based solely on their skin color (or some other diversity checkbox) into positions for which they are utterly unqualified. Ketanji Brown-Jackson, Karine Jean-Pierre, Claudine Gay (the now-discredited president of Harvard who is resigning over allegations/evidence of plagiarism), and many others. Apparently the EEOC’s standard no longer applies:
Applicants, employees and former employees are protected from employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age (40 or older), disability and genetic information (including family medical history)

These same people, who scream at the sky claiming voting integrity laws (which serve to protect all voters) are tantamount to bringing back Jim Crow on steroids, are the same ones stunningly displaying an inexorable lack of self-awareness (or more likely just speaking out both sides of their mouths) when they fight for the same segregation that was the hallmark of Jim Crow.
You would think some might catch on, but more tend to toe the line than toss the tommyrot.
What many fail to observe is that much of this is promulgated by…white politicians and other fiscally comfortable caucasians. Wait, what? Yes, much of the diversity and inclusion taradiddle is propounded by white Democrats (look, I’m an equal opportunity party-basher, but when the shoe fits…). Now why would white Democrats want to push segregation? Oh, they’ll argue that it’s not segregation - it’s racial affinity (i.e. finding connection, support, and inspiration through common race), but a corpse flower by any other name…
Diversity devotees even go so far as to impugn math, correct answers to questions, and objective grades in school as racist; so they oppugn these practices in educational institutions. Through this approach, all they succeed in doing is robbing students of the ability to succeed. And this has a disproportionate impact on who? People of color. Again, why would white politicians and philanthropists want to impose such obstacles upon people of color?
When it comes to the segregation, that appears to be the end in itself. Under the guise of diversity and inclusion, rather than using legislation to bring back Jim Crow, they have convinced people of color to exclude themselves. Worse, in selling this as a positive, the politicians then receive votes from those they have seduced into self-imposed separation. In addition, by removing from schools any opportunity for attainment of a robust education, they inculcate innumerable reflexive voters who help perpetuate their power.
The duplicity of diversity must be discarded. Diversity cannot be forced in government, business, or society in general with any degree of success. It must happen naturally, organically. There was a time when that was the case with America. It was especially so in the 1980s and early 1990s. True diversity, which is based on ideas - not skin color - and which does make a culture strong, was pushed aside by politicians and pundits who believed it better to hold back the minorities they claimed to favor.
Malcom X warned blacks against the danger of white Democrats (liberals) who claimed to want to help minorities. Diversity and Inclusion are just the latest iteration of the same mendacity. It is simply Orwellian language-twisting equivalent to “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”
If someone truly supports "diversity", they stop thinking about stereotypes, races, genders, etc and simply treat others as human beings. "Diversity" needs no laws. In fact, pushing diversity accomplishes the exact opposite.
DEI is simply the new and improved packaging for Affirmative Action. The biggest difference is that all the freaks of nature that think men can be women and that children can and SHOULD be "transitioned" are included in the deal.
I can't tell you the number of times and affirmative action hire came into the picture and all that it created was strife among the entire staff. Productivity and moral crashed because of the attitude that the hire brought into the workplace. Let's not forget the fact that they simply could not keep up because they were NOT the right fit because of the lack of proper education or other employment training.
Trying to FORCE someone into the workplace where they are NOT the best candidate is a recipe for disaster.
