A poignant contemplation given the socio-political climate.

At some point, I believe that we will all be required to answer the question, "What are you willing to lose?" It's very easy to mouth off when times are relatively "good." It's quite another when family, friends, and neighbors are carted off to gulag, never to be seen, again.

We may all be facing one-way trips in cattle cars in the very near future. Do we speak truthfully and risk extermination? Or, do we speak the chosen mantra and turn in our own family members to stay alive?

Me? I belive that dying is a part of living and God made the Ultimate Sacrifice of His Only Son, Jesus. He did that for me. I fear nothing as a child of God. I hope that I will remain courageous and true when the time comes.

We’ve come to a world where there is 2 (or more) truths to every “problem”.

Comments such as “Trump supports Project (whatever number it is). It’ll end women’s rights entirely!” When they are fully aware that SCOTUS denied that ability to the federal government, not to mention is only passed through The House before a president can make a decision on it.

Then add on that so many have learned to just follow the “leader” no matter what. It doesn’t matter how often we provide contradicting proof, factual evidence, that what they’re told isn’t correct.. they will always blindly follow whom they chose to be their leader.

Most elections can be won with write ins just from non voters.. but will they do anything than sit on social media and complain? Nope. Why? Because they were told it can only be the prefilled names on the ballot. You can point out that less than half of the people that can vote are voting and they have the power if they chose. But nope..

I’m honestly exhausted and just want to walk away.
