A poignant contemplation given the socio-political climate.

At some point, I believe that we will all be required to answer the question, "What are you willing to lose?" It's very easy to mouth off when times are relatively "good." It's quite another when family, friends, and neighbors are carted off to gulag, never to be seen, again.

We may all be facing one-way trips in cattle cars in the very near future. Do we speak truthfully and risk extermination? Or, do we speak the chosen mantra and turn in our own family members to stay alive?

Me? I belive that dying is a part of living and God made the Ultimate Sacrifice of His Only Son, Jesus. He did that for me. I fear nothing as a child of God. I hope that I will remain courageous and true when the time comes.

We’ve come to a world where there is 2 (or more) truths to every “problem”.

Comments such as “Trump supports Project (whatever number it is). It’ll end women’s rights entirely!” When they are fully aware that SCOTUS denied that ability to the federal government, not to mention is only passed through The House before a president can make a decision on it.

Then add on that so many have learned to just follow the “leader” no matter what. It doesn’t matter how often we provide contradicting proof, factual evidence, that what they’re told isn’t correct.. they will always blindly follow whom they chose to be their leader.

Most elections can be won with write ins just from non voters.. but will they do anything than sit on social media and complain? Nope. Why? Because they were told it can only be the prefilled names on the ballot. You can point out that less than half of the people that can vote are voting and they have the power if they chose. But nope..

I’m honestly exhausted and just want to walk away.

It amazes me how many are unwilling to VOTE in order to have their beliefs represented. There is no other country in the world like the United States of America where you CAN have your individual opinion on any given topic heard and represented by someone YOU vote for to do so. Why anyone would not vote to have that opinion heard is beyond me.

The moral compass of the world, especially in the US, is not just broken, it's practically non-existent at this point. Sin, which is what the most of what the WOKE population believes, is the easy choice. Living a Righteous life is NOT the easy path. These extreme leftist want what they want and they can't have that if they follow God's law and plan for us. Thankfully there are still enough of us at this point that are NOT part of the woke mob and want nothing to do with that way of life that we can combat that evil, with God's help.

Those who are concerned/scared of being "cancelled" or "doxed" by the woke mob have, in my opinion, a weak faith and are no longer following God's word. I have faith that God is watching over me and those like me. He is giving us the strength and courage needed to stand against this evil trying to take over the world.

Yes, we think there is very little risk to us as we write our articles expressing our viewpoint.

This weekend was a bit of a surprise to me when Homeland Security knocked on my door and wanted to interview me. That was unexpected!

True - there are other risks to writing for public consumption. Someone writing like we do could have a piece seen by an employer who finds a viewpoint incompatible with employment for instance. I can't imagine, however, you've actually written anything, John, that would warrant a visit from DHS.

Yes, when publishing there is always the risk that someone who disagrees with you may choose to impact your life.

I'm not concerned with my writing, overall I'm rather tame I think. But it's worth noting that the DHS has agents showing up in nice suburban neighborhoods talking to people. Is history ready to repeat itself again?
