Saul Alinsky's 13th rule in his treatise "Rules For Radicals" states, "“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Many leftists would add, then destroy it, but I digress. This is part and parcel how authoritarian bureaucracies wield power. It is not necessary to do so by force. The Beatles, in their song "Revolution" advocated for a evolution over revolution approach.
You say you want a Revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be alright
But make no mistake about it, both groups, while appearing openly hostile to each other, are actively working together in order to subvert our Republic. And now we are witnessing firsthand the fruits of the seeds that were sown over the past few decades, not only in our public education system, but also in our public discourse. We are witnessing these two groups coalesce around this week's boogeyman and watching how that target is constantly changing in order to keep their adversaries off-balance while creating maximum confusion and conflict.
