Geography... unfortunately far too many people never learn geography (they are lucky to identify which state they live in).
This same argument "If xyz falls, then the USA will fall" (the "Domino theory") was used to justify the Korean war and the Vietnam war. It's a lame argument. We the people (of the world), need to just say NO to war!
The U.S. needs to stop policing the world. The constitution gives our government no authority to do so. Our money is meant for the running of our government, and our military is meant for the protection of our land. We are neither a charity nor the school hall monitor - our government needs to stop acting as though we are.
100% Agreement - It is not the USA's obligation to defend every banana republic in the entire world. If every other nation took the same attitude: "our affairs are our affairs, we have no business meddling elsewhere in the world" then war would cease to exist, international relations would improve dramatically!
At the very least, acknowledge that economic warfare is the most important form of warfare, so stop slinging bullets and bombs at each other. The funny thing about that is we officially have conducted economic warfare against Russia and yet we still do massive business with them because it's just too profitable! "You are bad, so we will shoot you, but we certainly want to keep doing business with you because that is very profitable." - What a joke!
This also begs the question: What defines "counterfeit" money? If our government can print and distribute cash on demand, then isn't every dollar bill in my handbag just as worthless as bills generated in a basement somewhere? Oh, dear.........
Because our Nation's leadership essentially is non-existent, Congress truly believes that printing and distributing cash around the world will keep them (specifically) safe. It will keep their jobs safe. It will keep their investments safe. And, it will keep their lives safe.
I agree that sending $billions to some country on the other side of the world is not good policy, especially when our government is already so deep in debt. But I have issues with conflating that with the immigration problem. Yes, our immigration system is a mess, and politicians keep sweeping it under the rug, but ... the immigrants themselves are not the bad guys, and calling them "invaders" is not accurate. The true villains are the governments of their home countries. Yes, a small number of immigrants commit crimes, but their numbers are vastly overshadowed by native-born American criminals and terrorists (see: pro-Hamas demonstrators).
I've disagreed with you on this before, and I will again. They *are* invaders - they are coming illegally, just as someone breaking into your house would be an invader. The majority are *not* coming to be productive members of American society and to adopt our culture - they are takers, looking to live off the system, many are criminals (not a small number), and many are foreign plants. If you didn't watch the video I linked of the South American migration trail, and how it's being used and funded, I urge you to: https://www.muckraker.com/articles/united-states-invasion-route-exposed/ . We are being invaded, and the U.S. government has been treasonous in its refusal to secure our own border and in its effort to stop the states from doing it themselves. The true villain is OUR OWN government.

Traitorous, indeed.

Traitorous? Without argument.

That's not to say that there are none who are coming for legitimate reasons, but I would suggest those are actually in the minority, not the majority.
